This lakefront acreage elopement was an intimate wedding day dream. Ashley and Cody had a small wedding ceremony with just their closest family and friends in attendance. The ceremony took place right on the lake’s shore in the sweetest little garden area of the acreage. The beautiful wedding venue was enough on its own, but fluffy boho wedding florals added just the perfect touch to the ceremony.
After the intimate ceremony, all the guests sat in a circle around the bride and groom and gave their best wishes along with a champagne toast. It was a super sweet moment. After mingling with guests, the pair and I snuck away to explore the land and take bride and groom photos. The fall leaves and grassy field created the prettiest setting for wedding portraits.
After exploring for a bit, Ashley changed from her off-the-shoulder wedding dress to a more casual white shirt and jeans. Cody switched out his groom shoes for cowboy boots, and we went to explore the stables where her Moms horses are kept. Bride Ashley loves horses and horseback riding, so this was the perfect ending to the day. We ended needing cover from some hail so we ducked into the barn for a few minutes to take cover. When we returned to the filed the sunset was so vibrant and incredible!
