Nestled in the mountains of Jasper, Alberta lies a hidden gem of a wedding venue – the dreamy Overlander Mountain Lodge. With its charming rustic atmosphere and gorgeous scenery, this lodge is perfect for couples looking to tie the knot in an intimate and romantic setting!
As a wedding photographer whose main focus is capturing the beauty and raw emotions of a wedding day, documenting Alison and Rylan’s wedding day was a dream come true. The outdoor bride and groom portraits we captured are some of my favorites to date. If you don’t do anything else, definitely scroll to check those out.
The day began with the bride and groom preparing for their big moment in separate cabins at the lodge. My goal was to capture every precious moment between the bride and the women she surrounded herself with during this portion of the day. It was the sweetest time!
The intimate ceremony took place outdoors, with the majestic Rocky Mountains as the backdrop. The couple exchanged their vows and did a special “handfasting” ceremony. After the ceremony, we took advantage of the lodge’s stunning surroundings for some outdoor wedding portraits. Like I said, these turned out to be some of my favorites ever!!
The Overlander Mountain Lodge provided the perfect setting for a inviting and cozy reception. It was the perfect intimate and warm ending to a perfect wedding day. Thank you, Alison and Rylan for letting me capture it for you.
